aandncaravan
Using any sort of pressure washer or Lance on a Motorhome or Caravan is not a good idea. Even a Hose pipe should be used with great care. Many Motorhomes and Caravans built prior to 2010 are designed to be Water resistant to water descending gently down wards only. Many tap powered hosepipes used on a 'jet' pattern or worse still full pressure washers will often direct the water upwards under overlapping panels, through joins, through vents, etc. Some pressure washers are strong enough to drive out sealing between joins and force water past seals. EJB
Virtually all commercial DIY car washes use it.......because it looks good and the customer then thinks it does a better job.........Yes! really!!! ;-) However as already stated power washers and Caravans/Motorhomes should never meet! Brock
Son uses it on his car. It lifts the dirt when applied with a lance and the foam is then power jetted off leaving a clean car. He used it once on the van and it worked, especially on the roof. However, as he had to avoid areas so as not to disturb seals etc, we still had to use a degreaser manually to go around fittings such as roof lights, fridge vents. We concluded it wasn't worth the effort. As ever, some snow foams are better than others.
