Anyone done this drive and are the motorways all toll roads?

Calais to Boulogne (A16) toll free. Boulogne to Abbeville (A16) toll. Abbeville to Rouen (A28) toll free. Rouen to A13 Oissel (D16E) toll free. Oissel to Incarville (A13) toll. Remainder, via Verneuil-sur-Avre, all toll free.

There are straightforward toll free alternatives to all toll sections, but you'll need a map (or a sat nav set to avoid tolls) to find these.

Thanks Brian,good information,going in June so will check the map,have a satnav but sometimes I would rather use the old map,was in Holland last September and ended up taking the satnav out,bloody thing was sending me all over the place,at one point I almost ended up on a construction site in Leiden LOL!!

Using the ViaMichelin website will allow you to plan a route, selecting various options including whether or not to avoid motorways that charge a toll (or avoid motorways completely). Driving directions are also provided if you don’t trust your sat-nav.

Our entry-point into France is usually the ferry-port at Ouistreham, so I’m pretty familiar with nearby Ranville and the surrounding area.

Thanks very much Derek,thats why I asked the question because there will be members who know the area which I don't,have plenty of time to sort out which way I will go,probably stick to motorway to get down there quicker.
