trickydicky
Hi, we always used to park in the port itself,by the ticket office, especcially if we had a very early crossing.not done this recently due to the problems with the " jungle", but would like to try it again in a few weeks time. Does anyone know if it is still possible to " overnight " there,as I seem to recall some changes to the parking area taking place the last time we were there.thanks in advance. ron.
This subject was brought up yesterday. Have a look at the "Calais Now" thread for the replies. The changes you mention have reduced the parking area somewhat but it is still adequate.
peejay
See this link..... http://www.portboulognecalais.fr/en/preparing-your-calais-douvres-crossing Free overnight parking still possible in the 'P2' area, although as mentioned, the area has been reduced in size to 354 places. We last used it for an overnighter in Dec 2014, no problems. http://www.portboulognecalais.fr/media/956-port-calais-plan-parking-public.jpg Pete
