indicates (Page 60) that a Comanche’s “Exterior Gas Bottle Locker” can accommodate two Calor 13kg propane canisters.

Assuming that’s correct, two Gasow 11kg refillable bottles should fit in OK as the Calor bottle’s dimensions are 580mm(height) x 315mm (diameter), while the Gaslow bottle’s dimensions are 560mm(height) x 304mm (diameter).

A brief follow-up...

If you plan to fit Gaslow R67 bottles, it’s worth noting that the bottle’s outlet points upwards at an angle (see attached photo with outlet on the left) which was not the case with the pre-R67 Gaslow canisters. If your Comanche’s gas-locker has plenty of height, the angled outlet should not present a problem, but it’s worth bearing in mind as it can compllcate connecting a gas-hose to the bottle if there’s not much ‘headroom' above it.

Merely an observation, but do you really need 2 x 11kg bottles equating to 42 litres of gas when full? Unlike carrying 2 x 13kg Calor canisters, where the bottles need to be replaced when empty, you can top up user-refillable bottles whenever the opportunity presents itself. Unless you have particular requirements where it’s essential to have as much gas-capacity as possible, you might consider opting for 2x 6kg bottles, 1 x 11kg and 1 x 6kg, or even 1 x refillable bottle with a Calor bottle as a back-up. This would be cheaper, and have the potential to save weight and free up some space in the locker.
