skaman
Hello, has anyone had there motorhome cleaned then coated with diamondbright or such like. The company offering the service says that it's supposed to make the van look as new. Bit nervous about having it done in case it causes permanent damage to the paintwork. (?) derek pringle
Hi Skaman, We had both our vans coated by 'Paintseal' from new. Van never seemed to hold the dirt and the smallest rain shower and all looked great again. Must say it was very expensive imo but it included all the interior seats and carpets etc. good luck derek

Don't see the reasoning behind thinking it might 'damage' the paintwork. These coatings are merely that....formulated coatings. We had it done to our MH when brand new. However the warranty conditions meant annual checks and regular use of their products to 'maintain' the effectiveness. Needless to say we didn't bother. If you're so inclined to go ahead and don't mind a bit of elbow grease I understand the product can be bought from that famous internet auction site and applying it yourself will save you £££'s.
