paulmold
Is your control panel switched on? It needs to be for that system. Also the flap over the filler needs to be fully open to open the solenoid in the filler pipe.
PJM
I have the same system. There is a wire mesh filter in the inlet pipe just after the solenoid and before the pump. Undo the connections and make sure it is clean as it will stop the flow. I had this problem after using the fill hose that had been standing a while and was full of black cr*p. Alternatively if I remember correctly you can remove the innards of the solenoid to effectively bypass it.

RogerThat
All hot and cold taps fully opened? Trapped air may need an escape route.
ron.
When you've solved your problem dump the Whale system and convert it to a normal straight in filler. Talk about over-the-top, switches, pumps, power source - when all you need with a normal system is gravity. About the only advantage I can imagine in favour of the Whale system is for the disabled who might have difficulty in lifting a water container if needed. Derek Uzzell
ron In many cases the type of conversion you are recommending will be more easily said than done. In this earlier thread a forum-member described the method he used on his Autocruise mororhome http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Autocruise-water-tank-filling/6442/ It’s also true that plenty of motorcaravanners actually like the Whale-type filling arrangement http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Bailey-s-ongoing-fault/45562/#M510655
