Bulletguy
The cost of leaving EU is going to be very very high.......£35 - £40 billion and that's just an estimated start. So everyone can now look forward to many more years of continuing austerity, rising inflation and spiralling taxation. What an "achievement". *-) “I have argued repeatedly for months, taking into account the framework, you can’t have a proper withdrawal treaty unless you know where you are going. How on earth can you draw up a withdrawal treaty if you don’t know where you are going. This is all one ball of wax. The first argument will be what we are actually negotiating about”. Serious multilateral negotiating experience is in short supply in Whitehall, and that is not the case in the [European] Commission or in the [European] Council”. https://www.ft.com/content/39f240b2-77f1-3022-9af7-490a068eb70f http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-latest-sir-ivan-rogers-committee-name-calling-and-fist-fighting-a7556841.html
colin
I've watched the news reports on this with some interest, and it seems not one reporter has presented a balanced view. This is not some extra cost for leaving, it's a proportion of the costs we had already committed to up to 2020,
