Solomongrundy
A friend of mine has a Schaudt LT 67 panel and the red display (clock, temperature) flickers and/or is almost unreadable. Any suggestions about cause and remedy? He's been quoted over £80 to replace the unit but if there's an easy solution, beside putting up with the fault, it would be appreciated. The picture below shows the red lights working okay but his panel doesn't work okay.
StuartO
£80 seems quite reasonable for a panel replacement to me, even if it is a refurbishment rather than a brand new one. Schaudt panels and EBLs usually cost £250 or more to exchange. Not worth messing about trying to fix the display yourself unless you have electronic skills and can get the particular display as a spare part. aandncaravan
Hello, Stuart is right, that LT is quite complex in terms of the functionality/electronics, retails at well over £200 for a remanufactured unit. We currently have the much more basic LT95 and LT420 for sale at £130, so £80 is a bargain. The Red LED Displays for Clocks/Temp have been issue on some of the Controllers going back as far as the IT994.
