ham
Did anyone see the BBC News at 1 o’clock?, there was a feature there about immigrants catching the last bus from Dunkerque and Gravelines each evening to Calais to try and jump a lift to the UK. They also mention that there is a large camp at Dunkerque . looks like the problem is starting all over again
StuartO
Would-be migrants were reported as spreading out in order to try boarding lorries at service stops further away on the approach to Calais too. A night-time or overnight stop at any motorway service stop within 100 miles of Calais would involve some risk of being boarded by any obviously calais-bound MH as well as a Calais-bound lorry, even though the risk would be reltively low for a MH. It still makes sense to plan your return through Calais or Dunkirk with suitable caution in mind.
