Barry38
The textured Matt Black PVC décor panels on my Autocruise Rhythm (2009 vintage) have gone dull over time (particularly the ones on the rear doors) and need sprucing up to do the rest of the vehicle justice. I have tried various 'back to black' products on test pieces which make little difference and end up patchy at best - I suspect most of these are oil based and not suitable for this application. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience on how to satisfactorily approach this issue?
RogerC
Depending on just how bad they are WD40 as a regular application 'sometimes' does the trick. Wipe on with a cloth ....basically use it as a polish.
hagrid
Use Polytrol available from most yacht chandlers, it works, and lasts very well if you put a coat of wax over it once it has dried. https://www.owatroldirect.co.uk/product/polytrol/
