I'm sorry to report that one of our staunches forum members ( has, will, maybe ) be shortly leaving our great debating forum...Crackerja........sorry..Chaterbox, for new pastures. His contributions to all his forum friends on here are unsurpassable. As an undercover reporter for that great news paper THE DAILY MAIL, his scoops were unbelievable. Remember the great story (all true, and you heard it first on here folk's) The Passing Out Gassing, followed by the Great Trump emotion and Brexitfast at Trumpphines. All of them unforgettable because of the epic contributions of other forum member. Who am I talking about? non other than our own Dave (no not me) PELMETMAN. Dave is having to wined up 8-) :D his great story reporting skills, because his beloved...Her Majesty the Queen, and country needs this mans skills and courage when bullets are flying around (which were developed below decks in the RN) to train 4,000 of new young mariners on our brand new super Aircraft Carriers, thats if they can find 4,000. Up to now a few hundred. I don't understand why they need 4,000 pouffe makers but maybe thats just the Navy being cautious or catering for the young sailors needs. A sad day and a great loss. :'( Lets all wish him good luck :-D ......story below.

Fear not shipmates ;-) ........

I have had communication from Whitehall, and although they could sorely use my vast experience as a former Captain of the Heads, they have decided I can best serve the nations interests by ensuring those mutinous CB Remoaners are kept in check >:-) ........

Its my sworn duty as a patriot to ensure the good ship Great Britain sails serenely for the BREXIT B-) ......

So glad to hear this Dave. I will have to stop believing these stories that the Grudgian comic put out as scoops. I really couldn't sleep last night wondering what the forum would be without your help and unbiased views..Lol

Your knowledge about Kelp in Spain and how to build a small village with just a motorhome, two wind deflectors and a small trailer are essential reading for new travellers of our great hobby, so that they can get the most value out of nothing.

May you carry on for many more years to come, I'm sure everyone on chatterbox agrees. Three cheers for Dave..Hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray.

There..... Think that covers it.

Dave

PS. Is that Pauline having a dig at me.....lol
