Immigrants blamed for shooting hunters in Texas

Two Texas men out hunting shot each other in an incident of "friendly fire".......it happens folks....it happens. *-)

 

But they decided to blame it on immigrants and cooked up a fairy story. *-)

 

They said immigrants attacked them to try to steal the RV the hunting group was using — a false claim that was widely circulated, including by Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.

 

Miller wrote on facebook; "This is why we need the wall and to secure our borders. There are violent criminals and members of drug cartels coming in and it must put a stop to it before we have many more Walker Daughertys."

 

Miller, who's been scrutinized for sharing wrong information in controversial social media posts, wrote about the incident in a Facebook note that was shared more than 6,500 times before it was deleted.

This doesnt surprise me at all. Good that they have been prosecuted for this but of course the damage is done.

 

All you have to do now is just make something up and send it around the world and by the time its exposed as rubbish millions of people have viewed it and if it supports their agenda lapped it up and reposted it.

 

Remember that video on here a few months ago about the poor woman being pushed down the stairs on a Berlin subway? Many on here and across the globe as it went viral blamed Muslim Migrants. This started off yet more vile hate filled responses from the worlds keyboard warriors globally.

 

Turns out they were Europeans from Bulgaria. :-(

 

Everything you read online now really needs to be taken with a pinch of salt or researched from several sources. I dont even bother opening Daily Mail links anymore, whats the point? Read that crap if you like but your only enforcing your own views with fake news.

Barry......a relative of mine used to live in Texas and he told me the gun obsession varies from state to state with Texas being one of the worst. Shooting accidents are that common during hunting season, some resulting in fatalities, they are supposed to wear hi-viz jackets when out hunting (though many don't). He told me in New York you'd imagine everyone packed a gun....but they don't. That's Texas where the gun laws are more lax and people are more stupid.

 

People do form preconceptions often fueled by rags like the Daily Fail etc. When i had to return back home after getting robbed in Spain some years ago i lost count of the number of people who said to me, "bet they were East Europeans...". They were wrong. They were French youths and i've toured East European countries long enough to know if you are struggling to communicate, the first language they ask if you speak is German. None speak French as a second language.

 

At least those toerag hunters eventually got caught out but the amount of police time they wasted plus the huge costs in searching for non-existent "criminals" when all the time the real criminals were the hunters themselves! God knows how the local police feel about them after wasting their time and resources.
