Gungster1
I have purchased a Elddis 195 prestige 2014 and the door lock doesn't seem very secure at all, looked at some of the usual locks which are on a lot of sites but they don't seem to fit the door or frame, just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for both internal or external locks. Thanks
starvin marvin
You could try looking at Harrison Locks of Worcester. They will fit deadlocks to habitation doors, and it should give you some ideas. I've used them twice to fit locks to my last two Hymer vans. Neat work and very good quality. keninpalamos
Have a look at Abus locks. Hymer used to supply and fit these as optional

John52
Reminds me of a Curry's warehouse in Manchester Steel door, massive door locks, security grille behind, ram raider bollards the lot. The burglars just knocked a hole in the 4" breeze block side wall and emptied the place *-) I'm afraid a chain is only as good as its weakest link :-S
Gungster1
Totally agree but when you close the door and see daylight it worries me, a local kid with a screwdriver could be in within seconds. In fact forget the screwdriver I think he could just pull it open....
