UKIP, Nuttall, Hillsborough and the Lies continue

UKIP now in meltdown as two major Liverpool officials resign over Nuttall's lies about Hillsborough condemning his lies as "intolerable to the people of Liverpool".

UKIP's major donor Arron Banks tweeted he was “sick to death” of hearing about the deaths of 96 Liverpool football fans at Hillsborough stadium in 1989, a comment Mr Nuttall has failed to condemn. Banks said it “demonstrated they are not fit to lead” the party and "milking a tragedy is sick".

Not only has Nuttall blatantly lied about "not knowing" the Hillsborough claim was on his website, where it had been the past five years, he also lied by claiming to have been "a survivor of the Leppings Lane catastrophe"....but he wasn't in that stand at all, he was in the upper tier which was safe.

Liverpool councillors are also curious at Nuttall's sudden interest with Hillsborough as according to them he's never mentioned anything about it before, despite having plenty of opportunity to do so.

Stoke don't want him......and i doubt he's too popular in Liverpool now........so he's gone to ground!! (lol)

He has also claimed to be a board member on the North West Training Council. The organisation’s chief executive, Paul Musa, said that, while Nuttall had visited the NWTC several years ago, he had never served on the board.

Also claims he played football professionally for Tranmere Rovers, when in fact he only ever played for the youth side as an amateur. Nuttall has blamed this on and “overenthusiastic researcher” and his own press officer! (lol) *-)

After the Brexit campaign I am not surprised at any lies from UKIP.

But I am mildly surprised he thought he could get away with these. With todays social media it should have been obvious - even to him - that someone would have seen him and would post it online?

Who was wearing the Brexit brain cell at the time *-)

Not to mention Muslim voters being told they'll go to hell if they don't vote Labour >:-) .....

That old saying....."He who is with out sin" etc etc come to mind (lol) .......

At least Mr Nuttal hasn't been caught out with a couple of Polish rent boys like your Mr Vaz *-) .......

Given his age and education background i'm much more than "mildly surprised" John! At just 40 years old so certainly by the time he was in High school, IT was widely available in education. He left school with 'A' levels and went to Edge Hill University graduating with a BA in history, and then an MA in politics from Liverpool Hope University.

The piece Channel 4 news ran last night was very damning and to have your parties chief donor condemn his lies as "intolerable to the people of Liverpool" and "milking a tragedy is sick", pretty much sums up the mans moral compass. He then makes an already bad issue even worse by blaming his own press officer and an “overenthusiastic researcher”!

As a political party UKIP are a spent force anyway now. Nobody really knows what there purpose or direction is and it's obvious their own leader doesn't! But they've always been confused and a web of contradictions as this article shows;

"So it is with Ukip: this party has made no rational sense since it captured the name from its anti-federalist founders and wrestled it into a one-man, anti-everything machine. It is the party that wants to protect British people’s access to their pressurised public services, while at the same time privatise the NHS; it’s on the side of the little guy and wants to fight for fair wages, at the same time as wanting to deregulate worker protection in the interests of cutting red tape. It thinks it an outrage that you can’t afford your rent, but has nothing to say on social housing, beyond that migrants shouldn’t be allowed it."

I thought it had all been cleared up ??? ... Obviously not ... Nowhere near as bad as Diane Abbots racist comments or Billary Clintons coming under fire while in Bosnia claim or Naz Shah's anti-semitic puke ... Our very London Mayors hardly squeaky clean either.

I don't recall any of the names you mention ever being members of UKIP or at Hillsborough and i've never heard of anyone by the name of Billary. (?) I've no idea what on earth Bosnia has to do with Hillsborough either.

How true, Dave, how very true. But, it seems a poor defence merely to quote the precedent of other sinners. After all, so far as we know, the critic himself wasn't one of the sinners, though those you prayed in aid of Nuttall's sins undoubtedly were! :-D

For me the fact that they're none of the above is currently enough to get my vote.......although Saint Theresa is tempting me back to the dark side 8-) ......

Hilarious!! Nuttall runs off from Channel 4's Michael Crick yet only three weeks ago was wallowing in all the publicity he could get! (lol)

Seems he's possibly broken yet another electoral rule too.......by registering as a Stoke-on-Trent voter from the house he never lived in! *-)

I think he'd be better off locked up.........even Farage has turned his back on him now after falling out with Lisa Duffy who was secretly recorded by her campaign manager (who ran for leadership) making claims about Farage’s personal life, which became the basis of a controversial book about UKIP.

Farage holds Patrick O’Flynn – Nuttall’s closest advisor – responsible for Duffy’s involvement.

Night of the Long Knives!!! (lol) (lol)

UKIP's only MP, Douglas Carswell told BBC Question Time tonight "UKIP does not expect to win in Stoke and the most likely outcome is Labour will win".

He went on to say, "Stoke is not even one of our target seats....".

So that's why they put their own leader up for the seat !!! (lol)(lol)

Excellent.........common sense voting prevailed.

Gareth Snell 7,853........Paul Nuttall 5,233. So a very decent majority win by 2,620.

"People who came to Stoke to sow division have failed.

People have chosen the politics of hope over the politics of fear, he says." Hear hear.

UKIP chairman Paul Oakden told the Press Association that losing Stoke will not affect Paul Nuttall’s leadership of the party. Asked what would happen if Nuttall did not win, Oakden said:

"He has a well-earned rest and then he comes back and leads our party, I suspect.

The whole narrative of Paul’s leadership depends on winning in Stoke is a nonsense." (lol)(lol)

Yeah right. *-) So not only was it never one of your target seats, but winning it would just be "nonsense".......so that's why you put your party leader up for the seat!!!

LMFAO !!! (lol)(lol)

Bye bye Nuttall........maybe try a seat in Liverpool or Sheffield. On second thoughts i reckon you're a toxic pariah in both those places now! (lol)(lol)

Number of things affected the result ... Poor turnout due to weather ? Hillsborough , Muslim Labour vote ... But not a good night for UKIP or Labour on a much reduced majority ... Even worse for em in Copeland ... My boys doing the bizz ... Your boys took one hell of a beating Jezza

BREAKING NEWS SHOCK 8-) .....Labour wins a SAFE seat :D .........

Both UKIP and Tories increased their share of the vote, whilst Labour saw theirs reduce, which is kinda unheard of from a party in opposition (lol) ......Hopefully Corbyn will survive to fight the next general election, as he's the best asset UKIP and the Tories have ;-) .......

Slowly slowly catchy monkey B-) ..........

But of course if the sainted lady Theresa delivers BREXIT with "border controls" then I shall swap my allegiance back to the Tories :-D .......

Wheedling a national tragedy into a political agenda brought disgrace on UKIP. Lying over personal involvement put the final nail in it for them. Nuttall couldn't even find his car when he left the election count last night which sums up UKIP perfectly....stranded, lost, confused, no direction known! (lol)

There was indeed a low turnout due to the weather. Stoke got hit by the storm but i'm only 15 miles away and barely enough wind to blow a few leaves here yesterday.

Knowing Corbyn's personal views on nuclear may have swung it for Copeland voters......but are the Tories genuinely committed as the PM doesn't appear to be. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/feb/15/may-accused-ducking-issue-cumbria-nuclear-plant-moorside

Hhmmmm......this is interesting.

Labours win in Stoke was a 12.7% majority over Conservative yet staggeringly you herald a ridiculously tiny miniscule margin of 3.7% between Leave/Remain in the referendum as a triumphant success! (lol)(lol)

Be interesting to see how those 6500 postal ballots went in Stoke .... Given that in the past a few areas with a high Muslim count have had very dodgy results and the famous "If you dont vote Labour you'll go to hell" claim I'm sure played a part ... Modern British elections dont ya just love em
