Derek Uzzell
A earlier forum mention of the motorhome parking area at Bergues (with a link to the campingcar-infos entry) http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Bergues-aire-northern-France/46334/
lennyhb
Arriving on an Aire at 2 or 3 in the morning is down right rude and inconsiderate to others, why would you even think of doing it, Why not behave like a normal person and arrive before 7pm, why go out of you way to upset the natives, the French tend to be early to bed all tucked up by 10pm and they won't apreaciate you waking them up. That's my take on it, it I consider what you are thinking of doing extremely rude and inappropriate.
Den
Never really had any problems late at night on route. Like earlier message park very close if full. We've pared in villages on the Chuch car park with no problem. Freind of ours parked on a aire in a village and woke up the next morning with the Market all around him The French are so forgiving towards MM's even with brexit going on. Enjoy and relax and have a great holiday. We leave on the 6th July and are aiming for the Alps and the south of France.
