I’ve had a few warning mails from friends recently about scams and car hi jackings, all were hoaxes. These mails were sent in good faith.

There are more hoaxes than actual viruses. All people have to do is type the suggested hoax subject into Google and it would save thousands of emails being forwarded.

I can however warn you of a genuine and truly awful hoax.

If a man come to your door and claims that he is doing a survey and asks you to show him your *rse - ignore him and DO NOT show him your *rse.

This is a scam - he just wants to see your *rse!

I wish that I'd known this yesterday - I feel so cheap!

For the benefit of other members 'The Trotters' is the name of my local football team, Bolton Wanderers.

I live a mile and a half from their fancy new stadium and I've never been once. I regularly sit down to dinner with four old friends and it's four Wanderers' season ticket holders and me!

I'm not quite as bad as Jade Thingy who thinks that Rio de Janeiro is a footballer but when my friends start talking football it may as well be Mandarin.
