Robbo
Repairing a flyscreen for a PVC was recently discussed here: http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Broken-fly-screen-door-on-Globecar/46030/
Tony Jones
For our Transit, I ended up making my own. You can buy some for house doors, which consist of two weighted strips of mesh with magnets to hold them together down the middle. I bought two, then cannibalised one to create a third strip, and add magnets to the second joint. The whole assembly is "crimped" in place by the weather strip. Very fiddly to set up, but it works! Of course, that's one example of how Ford people like me have to rely on our own ingenuity. No doubt someone makes ready-made ones for Fiats/Peugeots! david lloyd
takeaflight - 2017-02-25 6:04 PM Does anyone if there is such a thing as a flyscreen for the sliding side door, or if any models comes with one built in ? I believe some of the continental panel van conversions such as Carthago (Malibu) and Globecar now have sliding insect screens covering the side door space. The main problem is that there only seems to be one model available for LHD vehicles with the sliding door on the UK offside. David

Don636
We have a Vantage Neo and I believe Vantage now have an optional sliding fly screen available but not sure if it can be retro fitted.

Keith T
Several manufacturers now incorporate them - Autocruise I think come as standard, and when we saw them at the Birmingham show in October, they looked very good. We have an Autotrail on order, but they are 'looking at' the possibility, but don't think ours will com e with one. We looked at the one listed on the previous post, but it seemed very expensive, and not easy to set up, so looking at making something for summer use when new van arrives! Due to sizing problems, its not possible to retro-fit the ones used by Autocruise.

takeaflight
Sorry for the above post being tired and drinking a glass wine, really I should know by now not to post till the next day. What I was trying to say was, the panel vans seem to hold their value.
