Wirralian Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 On 9 Dec I posted a thread (under my previous username of Double) to asked if I could charge the vehicle battery of my Ace Milano whilst on site. The owner of another Swift Group MH had said that this possible by switching to 'car' on the control panel. From some of the replies I received it seemed that this is possible on some 'vans, including Swifts. One advice I got was to check with the technical dept of the manufacturers, which I did. (something that I should have done in the first place!) This is the reply from Swift's customer care advisor: 'RE Ace Milano I can confirm that it is not possible to charge the vehicle battery whilst on site. The car position is for use if you have no electric hook up or leisure battery and can be used for emergency power.' So there we are. Hope this is of interest to other Swift owners.
