aandncaravan
A battery Master takes power from the habitation batteries to charge the Starter battery. What charging practice do you have for keeping the habitation batteries fully charged to replace the power drawn by the Battery Master? What are the voltages currently of the Habitation batteries and how old are they, make, technology, size, etc?
fairweather camper
We have a solar panel and Van has been hooked up for nearly 3 weeks, the leisure battery is 13.5 v it is only 18 months old, it is fully charged, the system we have has been working fine until January, when the Van failed to start, we then bought a new vehicle battery
aandncaravan
Sorry no ideas, unless the 'faulty' Alarm has been taking more power than it should? It sounds a little bit like the last post in this thread below, but that wasn't on EHU : http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Battery-charge-controller/46148/
Alanb
I am not familiar with the Battery Master in detail, so in an effort to help, I am working from first principles. Have you considered the possibility of a high resistance (loose) connection between your Battery Master and Starting Battery, or perhaps a corroded fuse in that circuit?
