Nordelettronica : Obsolete Fuseboards now repairable

We were approached at the end of January by an Italian electronics workshop who can not only repair obsolete Nordelettronica Fuseboards, but load new software. Not just any version of software, but the latest factory version.

So they are going to take on all our Nordelettronica Fuseboard work and we are going to handle all their Schaudt repairs and supply of new Schaudt parts.

 

So the NE184 that is no longer available, is at least repairable, regardless of the issue, as the workshop claim to be able to repair any Nordelettronica Fuseboard, even down to supply of new PCB's.

 

We have just supplied the first repaired NE184 Fuseboard to a major Dealer who has fitted the board yesterday. The quality of the repair was very high, to as new standard. Obviously the Dealer is delighted, having saved on what they thought was going to be a £1,500 plus rewire because of a Fuseboard other companies said was unrepairable.

 

The cost of the service isn't cheap because of the 'as new' standard of repair plus transport to and from Italy and our cost, but still close to the cost of a new Board if they had still been available.

 

 

Just been contacted by Marquis to use the same service, so hopefully there will be another satisfied customer soon?

When we quoted them, the response back was,

"This is terrific news, your quote against 2-3k is always preferable".

 

 

We don't want to do a lot of these, we do not have the resources, this service is purely for obsolete units, for those who have maybe tried to get the unit repaired elsewhere and it has been declared unrepairable.
