How the Tories cheated to get elected

..........and that's news???

You really do have an awfully myopic outlook on life.

Politicians are all at it and if you look like I just did just a bit of research before hitting your whining keyboard you will readily find that to date......LABOUR...are the biggest offenders and have been sanctioned/fined by the Electoral Commission:

After the commission launched its investigation, the party undertook an internal review, unearthing 24 other undeclared election expenses totalling £109,777.

However, the commission’s investigation then identified 49 further missing payments totalling £11,357 that related to the transport of the party’s activists on the Labour Express tour and Labour Students tour during the election.

The commission said Labour’s general secretary, Iain McNicol, who is also its registered treasurer, had committed two election offences, involving missing payments of £123,748 from the campaign spending return and for failing to deliver invoices and receipts of more than £200 for payments totalling £34,392.

So apart from a different party in the frame......what's the news??

So what it's hardly news.......just another opportunity for a bit of whining and moaning despite the fact that Labour were caught out big time over the 2015 election.  If it was a one sided issue and no other party had ever done it it might be something to crow about.  However as Labour were 'first past this particular post'....and 100% on their own for that bit of history...(hows that for a majority??   haha) the topic is hardly earth shattering.  Note the word below......"The LARGEST fine ever imposed by the electoral commission".....now that's something to crow about...should one be so inclined.....hehe.

"Labour has been fined £20,000 by the Electoral Commission, the largest imposed by the body in its history, for undeclared election spending during the 2015 campaign"

Two very disillusioned and also very angry Tory supporters (not any longer!) tell how Tory HQ has churned out a pack of lies and are now involved in a cover up. Serious enough for the police to be investigating.

I find the most depressing thing is we have to rely on private media companies to expose corruption - like the last round of MP's expense fiddles exposed by the Daily Telegraph.

Colonel Patrick John Mercer OBE MP taking bribes for trying to get a Fijian dictatorship with an appalling human rights record into the Commonwealth - until he was exposed by another private media company.

What do we pay a Parliamentary Standards Committee for?

Police?

BBC?

All the Government does is complain about 'press intrusion into private lives', and impose draconian penalties like the £1m plus (at a time when the average house price was £25k) they charged the Daily Star for truthfullly printing that Lord Archer gave money to a working girl. No wonder none of them dared print the truth about Sir Jimmy Savile OBE KCSG. :-(

Good of you to post a photo of yourself BG.  I suspect all that steam could be put to good use....have you got a steam turbine at home?  I reckon that with this 'amazing' revelation and Brexit keeping you so heated you could power your household for years to come....  :-)

Twelve police forces have now sent files to the CPS over Conservative expenses in the 2015 election involving "at least" a dozen MP's facing possible criminal charges. There are more police forces still to report so it could well involve a higher number of MP's.

And this is the "Government" people think they "elected"......the same "Government" some of the public is trusting with Article 50 who also now admit has "done no economic assessment of crashing out of the EU with ‘no deal’".

Conservatives fined record £70,000 for campaign spending failures

The Conservative party has been fined a record £70,000 and its former treasurer reported to police after an Electoral Commission investigation found “significant failures” by the party to report its campaign spending.

After a year-long investigation, the watchdog found the Conservatives failed to declare or accurately report more than £275,000 of campaign spending at three byelections in 2014 and at the 2015 general election.
