Brock
Welcome and here's hoping somebody knows where they can bought because I've been looking for 3 years! The best I found were ugly truck mirror guards. Apart from the odd mark from branches, mine have survived so far.

Derek Uzzell
The only mirror protectors that it might be practicable to fit to A-class motorhomes are (as Brock has said) those intended for trucks. (Examples here) https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=truck+mirror+protectors&tbm=shop&* Unlike the mirrors fitted to mass-production light commercial vehicles (Boxer, Ducato, Transit, etc.) there is no design-standardisation for the mirrors chosen for A-class motorcaravans by their converters - a Hymer mirror will differ from a Pilote mirror which will differ from a Rapido mirror and so on - plus the segment of the motorhome market occupied by A-class models is much smaller than that comprising ‘coachbuilt’ and panel-van-conversion (PVC) vehicles. Consequently, it’s financially sensible for the smallish specialist companies that produce mirror protectors to target coachbuilt/PVC motorhomes with standard original-equipment mirrors and ignore A-class vehicles. hagrid
After 4 years and 40000 miles with coach type mirrors, we initially had some slight scuffing from the odd protruding hedge, I covered the backs with a protective film, LaminX which seems to have eliminated that problem. I also put some SOLAS reflective tape on the backs, at night even the biggest trucks slow down to pass.
Spireite
This is a reply I've just received from Mirrorguard.co.uk - who I believe is one of the main manufacturers of guards - Hello, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we do not manufacture a mirror guard for an A Class vehicle as they fit so many different types of mirror the set up cost would be prohibitive. Kind Regards Paul Sydenham For Mirrorguard Ltd. I presume all of the guard manufacturers will have the same cost problems.. Have you been directly in touch with Piloté? stevedcu
Hi Everyone Thanks very much for all your replies much appreciated. I am waiting for a response from Pilote but not expecting much. I am thinking Lamin-X seems the best option had a look at the website so will go down that route. Thanks for the advice Hagrid. Looking forward to getting out there and using it now!!
