My impression is that most Europeans (for now) are simply bewildered and saddened by our decision. However I shall be slapping a few of these on my van this year as I head across to the Mainland. :D https://www.redbubble.com/shop/i+love+eu+stickers I'm getting one of these to go with my Fruitcake sticker :D ......... https://i0.wp.com/www.vleporama.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160630_192655.jpg?resize=300%2C300 Or maybe one of these B-) ....... https://ih0.redbubble.net/image.229775566.8121/st%2Csmall%2C215x235-pad%2C210x230%2Cf8f8f8.lite-1u3.jpg Or perhaps this one :-S .......... https://ih0.redbubble.net/image.268802596.3336/st%2Csmall%2C215x235-pad%2C210x230%2Cf8f8f8.lite-1u1.jpg Better still >:-) ....... https://ih0.redbubble.net/image.282381913.1460/st%2Csmall%2C215x235-pad%2C210x230%2Cf8f8f8.lite-1u2.jpg Found a better one for you Dave! :D (warning, sweary) http://s3.postimg.org/eo6qhwkab/brexit_sticker.jpg

Jemima the Hyma
France is brilliant, you'll love it. We've been doing it for a number of years and not experienced any issues at all. Have a look at Orador-sur-Glane near Limoges, a thought provoking place with an amazingly tragic story. There's a free aire within the village for your overnight stay. Derek Uzzell
We were in France for a few days recently, using the Portsmouth-Caen route. Security at embarkation was intensive at Portsmouth and Ouistreham (Caen) to the extent that, although the number of vehicles going on board the ferry at Portsmouth was small, the security procedures took so long that the ship was late leaving. The ferry managed to depart from Ouistreham on time (few people on board) but multiple checks of vehicles in the embarkation lanes were made by police and customs officers. Lorries were being climbed into and our motorhome’s interior was checked 3 times. The unfortunate couple with a UK-registered Transit van in front of us in the queue had the full treatment including a sniffer-dog exploration, and it seemed that late arrivals were not being permitted to embark. So make sure all of your ‘transit’ documentation (passports - people and pets) is 100% spot-on because it’s going to be checked very closely. And if you are travelling to France by ferry, don’t be surprised if there’s an interminable wait at each end.

We didn't see any info about no dogs until we got there and it was too hot to leave her in the MH so we couldn't go in. One of the only places we couldn't take her. Regards, Mark.
