MidLifeCrisis
Sorry, posted twice while trying to correct to polarity! Two weeks into my maiden voyage and I've come across my first site where this is an issue. I have the necessary adaptor, which end do I put it, van end or supply end? Someone else on site said don't bother but my fridge is slowly defrosting.
Keithl
Agree, it doesn't matter! But I usually put mine at the post end. Keith. And second post deleted.
MidLifeCrisis
Thanks, the two pins don't seem to be the right distance apart- just have to drink red wine instead!
bolero boy
just for the moment, forget the RP adaptor.... prior to discovering this, you must have been connected to the bollard....was this with a two pin french converter? if so, you still need this in the bollard, then connect the RP adaptor. to the CEE end, then the normal EHU lead to that, and then i to ypur van... im not sure i follow which two pins arent the right distance apart.....the on.y ones should be the ones going into the bollard... if struggling, ypu can always run ypur fridge off gas till someone there can sort you out.
