lunarmike
My waste tank drain valve seized solid after the last winter layup. I managed eventually to work it loose with a spanner. I think it is a rotary ball valve with two O rings. Could this be due to the O rings drying out and sticking after emptying the waste tank at the end of last year? Is it best to leave a small amount of soapy water in the tank to keep the O rings lubricated over winter? - with a small amount of antifreeze as well? Advice appreciated. Robbo
I always leave my toilet cassette blade open when the vehicle is not being used to prevent the O ring seal from sticking. Similarly, leave the waste valve open although some will say there is a possibility of creepy crawlies entering the tank. Might be worth soaking the O rings in olive oil, if that is possible. monique.hubrechtsgm
If it is ball valve Probably Astore- italy You have ball seat rings not o-rings they are well seated and if not frozen out they last very long.
