hymer1942
Morning all. I have a six month old Mercedes Hymer that has decided it will only work on 12 volt when either engine running or plugged in, has anyone suffered the same problem. Thanks Barrie
Robbo
Sounds like the leisure battery isn't holding it's charge. Even new batteries have been known to fail. Think the EBL cuts out below a certain voltage.
aandncaravan
It may be tired batteries, but also check the 'maxi' fuse near to the habitation battery, usually a Red 50a. If it has failed suggest you try and work out why before replacing it, as these only ever pop if there is an issue somewhere.
Brian Kirby
As the van is only 6 moths old, back to the dealer who sold it?
Robbo
Apparently, according to MHFun where he also posted (username Middy42), his problem has resolved it's self. He turned everything off and back on again and now working OK.

Works on many technological and electronically advanced systems! David
