Forester Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 1) people that stand in the doorway when you are trying to get in/out 8-(2) people that put things on e-bay ect & don't put the size on with it 8-(
Dave Newell Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 1/ People who insist on congregating in the narrowest part of any public place (supermarket aisles for instance) and standing chatting completely oblivious to the problems they're causing. 2/ people who park on the pavement where double yellow lines are to go into the news agents for paper and ciggies. 3/ people who go into the pub with the price of one drink on them in the hope they can blag a pint or two off someone else. D. P.S. there will be more.
MandyAndy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 oooooo where do you start 1. Parents who shout at their children and then tell them off for shouting at others . 2. People who can look you in the eyes while you smile at them , or say "hello or good morning" and they completely blank you as though you where invisible. 3. Ditto Forester , those on Ebay that don't put sizing in headings or postage costs anywhere and you are supposed to request it. 4. People who are late, especially those who are constantly late and think its amusing and just part of them. We have parents at school who are late every day and just saunter up the path, I bet they have spent the last 20 minutes screaming at their children to hurry and they don't know the meaning of the word themselves. Gosh I'm enjoying this, that will do for now, but look forward to reading others too. Thanks , Mandy
Guest Frank Wilkinson Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 People who won't switch on their free telephone answering service. If my friends want to contact me they only have to phone once. If I'm not in they can leave a message and I'll get back to them as soon as I can.I have one friend whom I can ring ten times to try to get hold of him, sometimes for something fairly important, but he can't seem to understand the problems that he causes people. Some of you may say "But I don't want strangers or cold callers leaving messages that I have to deal with when I come in" but, firstly, cold callers selling double glazing etc. will never leave messages and secondly and probably more importantly, people who take this attitude are putting a little inconvenience for themselves above all the aggravation that they may be causing their friends. It is my opinion that, in this day and age of rapid communications, refusing to have an answering service of some kind is just bad manners and shows a lack of consideration for others.Sorry to be an old grunt, but I've just spent two days trying to get hold of one chap and I must have phoned a dozen times already!

Lizzy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 The media who hype up news items without knowing half of what they are talking about!!!!! People who use mobile phones whilst driving: drink drivers: people putting on make-up behind the wheel whilst in motion ......... Gloomy weather ;-) People who say 'it could be worse' - could it, I already suffer with depression *-) People who allow their dogs to run ahead off the lead beside a busy road 8o| Mother in Law who insists on talking at me through the bathroom door when I'm in there for 5 quiet? minutes :$
Dave Newell Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 People who phone my office when I'm not in but don't leave a message, am I supposed to be psychic or something? People who volunteer to do something for you, out of the kindness of their heart, then don't bother in the end! People who pick on other members of forums over silly little details like spelling mistakes or posting in the wrong place. People who drive at over 60 MPH while towing anything! D.
howie Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 People who moan. When my answer phone is off When I stand in a doorway When I park on double yellow lines to get the paper When i,ve only got the price of one pint and looking for freebies When I hold up the queue looking for my glasses/credit card/money etc. When i,m always late And finally. net-traveller Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 gotta have a go at this one. motorists who don't use indicators. motorists who do indicate but don't follow through. motorists who won't enter a roundabout if there is any possibility of any other vehicle moving anywhere else in the county. cars without mudflaps 'cos in very wet weather on major roads it's a nightmare overtaking 'cos you can't see a fing. as to supermarket shoppers with their inability to handle their trolleys. have you considered that the majority of them have cars in the carpark? Oo er ;-)
Guest peter Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I just dislike everybody and everything, except my little 17 Yr old Jack Russell called Growler. He's the only thing you can depend on and he loves you no matter what and doesn't give you any aggro or B.S. :D
howie Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Frank Wilkinson - 2007-01-03 3:15 PM People who moan about people who like moaning!Quite right Frank. Moaning is one of the great British traditions, and people who moan about people like us moaning about people like them moaning about people like us because we moan about people like them forever moaning, is one of the few things we can say without fear of condradiction. How about people who take their motorhomes to the top of snow capped mountains in the middle of winter, and then moan because its cold. That takes some beating. *-)

howie Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Stop moaning Frank. Beg your pardon Michele, but if you check back on your thread, you will find I was one of the few who sent a message of sympathy when you were stuck up that mountain when your heater packed in and all I get in return is a tirade of insensitive insults. Shame on you. :-( . Now if you don,t mind, i,m going to send a p.m. to someone who will remain unamed. .......................................Hi Chopper. I find I get the same problem with some of my emoticons, so i,m going to click on all of them to see which ones work and which ones don,t. If we make a note of the ones that work, then we will know the ones to use in future. (>) :-D :-S B-) :'( 8-) >:-( (!) :-( (^) (lol) 8o| :D :-| (?) :-> :$ *-) :-( :-) :-o >:-) ;-) Howard.

Mel B Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Blushing smiley doesn't work for me either, never has, don't think it does for anyone actually - lets carry out a survey, everyone who posts from now one please use the blushing smiley and lets see if someone can get it to work! :$ Annoying things: Girl at work who spend all her time sending chatting emails to a friend and browsing the web whilst we're all flying around like blue ars*d flies! Family members who, when they get a phone number on their display that they don't recognise, pick it up and then hang it up immediately without having the decency to find out who it is ... they keep doing it to us on our mobile phones! If we needed to call them in an emergency using someone else's phone we'd never get through!!!! *-) One of my dogs who is a tissue knicker, she evens goes in trouser and jacket pockets to pinch them! Next thing you know, you're out and about and need to use a tissue and you ain't got one ... unfortunately even though she eats them nothing comes out the other end nicely wrapped up! :-S
