Sam P
Has anybody out there ever managed to get the codes for the paint used on their Hymer motorhome? I'm about to put my Hymer camp 48 back together after having a serious damp issue repaired. After a lot of internet searching I managed to find a new textured aluminium sheet to replace the old corroded one but it will need painting to match the rest of the motorhome. It is an ivory/white colour with bronze metallic stripes. I've taken the old panel to a motor factors but because the panel is textured they are having difficulty matching it. I know it's a long shot but just hoping someone knows what the codes are? Finger's crossed.
StuartO
Try contacting Peter Hambiltonat: http://www.friendlyhippo.co.uk/hymerdirect/aboutus.html Peter has long experience of repairing Hymers and he will have recovered and repainted sections of textured skin many times. Getting past the lady who answers the phone can be a challenge because she's quite defensive of him but good luck!
