valsarhino
Hi, I am trying to find information on how easy this site is to get to !!! I have read various reviews with conflicting information. Our motorhome is almost 9m in length and some reviews say it is a "challenging route up a steep dirt track!!!" We have booked the site as a stopover on the way to Spain at the end of July so I would be very grateful of any info from anyone who has stayed here Thanks in advance Val
Archiesgrandad
Virtually every hamlet, town and village in South West France has a well located free Aire de Service, with your big rig you might be better advised using one of them. AGD

John Allen
Val Went to Souillac last summer and stayed at the huge Aire in the town. Easy access lots of room normal facilities etc for fresh water waste and black waste 3 euros. 5 minute walk into town. Directions: parking du Baillot. From D820 turn into D804 at traffic lights sign posted Sariat. Map reference North 44 deg 53.497 minutes East 001 deg 28.574 minutes. Rocamadour worth a visit but a bit of a boneshaker road up to it. Have a good trip John

valsarhino
Thanks for the info on the Aire in Souillac. Unfortunately we have already booked and paid for our pitch at Domaine De la Paille Basse. Maybe I should have asked the question sooner!!! Any other info on the journey to the site would be most welcome. Thanks again Val.
Solwaybuggier
We stopped there last summer- no particular problem getting there as far as I recall. Our van is wider than most (Bailey) but not as long as yours. It's a winding road, uphill, but unless you are only using major roads in France no worse than other country roads you'll have been on. Well surfaced until approaching the site itself, by which time it's fairly level.
