Pootlebeetle
Hi all, Really hoping someone can help. We have a autocruise starblazer 2008 Peugeot motorhome. We have tripped the switches for the 240v plug sockets. However we can't find the mcb. We have looked in the usual places. Under the seating, behind the drivers and passenger seats. In all the cupboards and drawers. In the floor compartments. In the boot/garage. We have downloaded the user manual useless... Spoken with swift our motor home model is before they took over autocruise and they are unable to help. Spoken with the original dealership that sold the motorhome. Also unable to help. Googled until we've almost gone blind! Does anyone have any idea where we can find the mcb?!?
aandncaravan
Hello, sorry I can't remember if I have even worked on that vehicle, let alone where the MCB is, however standard electrical practise is to put the RCD/MCB at the closest point possible to where the 16amp supply enters the vehicle. Almost all Motorhomes we have worked on follow this. So look on the outside for the EHU flap, and the RCD should be very close to that place but obviously on the inside of the van. Usually quite easy to track the bright Orange cable from the EHU internal point to where it meets the RCD. If the cable heads towards the Wardrobe, then the RCD may be under a 'secret' panel in the wardrobe base?
