Bulletguy
A French guy, Marcel, arrived on site yesterday with this tiny little two seater in tow on a flatbed trailer behind his MH. A Secmavehicule. I'd neither seen nor heard of them before but he told me there are just five in the UK. Engine is 500cc. Marcel is a "fulltime" MHer.......sold up everything. He's fluent English speaker too and was telling me he's in Poland trying to trace his family tree since discovering he has Polish heritage. http://oi66.tinypic.com/29gosah.jpg http://oi64.tinypic.com/wl55px.jpg
Derek Uzzell
SECMA vehicles were exhibited at an NEC leisure-show some years ago. They are French-made http://www.secmavehicule.com/ https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secma and the current UK agent is Cunninghams Auto at Norwich http://www.cunninghamsauto.com 2008 comments here https://www.topgear.com/car-news/secma-f16-news-little-respect-2008 relating to the Renault-engined F16 model that cost around £15K in 2009 http://www.qpod.co.uk/images/f16/F16%20Retail%20Price%20List%202009.pdf Cunninghams advertise a 2016 version at a similar price http://www.cunninghamsauto.com/cardealer/secma-f16-13.html
Bulletguy
Interesting links Derek.....thanks for posting them. When i first saw it it reminded me very much of the Ariel Atom but power wise the two are chalk 'n cheese. It seems an ideal little "runabout" though for a single, or even couple "full timing".....though he did comment 'getting in is the easy part, getting out can sometimes prove embarrassing'! Will86
It reminds me of a good friend who went around the world on a lawn mower engined craft. Jim Parkinson from Nutfield Surrey.
StuartO
I'm unlikely to want to spend £16K this way but having checked Derek's link to the websire of the Norwich-based UK Agent, not far from me, I'm tempted to go there just to find out if they do have French ladies who greet you with: "I shall only say zis once ..... My thoughts exactly. ! With the roof on, impossible, me thinks reminds me a bit of the "Bubble car" many years ago, but at least that opened at the front. BUt shoehorn (Carhorn) comes to mind. I hope the guy was a small man PJay

I meant with the car being so low down it can be difficult needing some agility.Yeah the owner tho elderly is fairly slim built!

Doppelganger. :-> (lol) The owner of the one i took photos of is staying on a site in mid Poland. I've just been talking with him a moment ago as he's been telling me he's eventually located some of his relatives here. He's French born but his mother was Polish.
