watty55
Hello, On our last day of our trip in Belgium the MH clipped a tall bollard through some roadworks whereupon the indicator light broke away from the mirror housing, Luckily the unit still works but to fix it back on properly to the main housing there are no obvious signs of how it comes apart for me to clip and screw the light back on. Any suggestions please? The vehicle is a 65 reg Fiat Ducato X290
Steve928
If you press firmly on the outer edge of the main mirror glass adjacent the indicator unit you will see 2 small screws that retain the indicator. They screw outwards through the mirror case and into the indicator unit. It sounds as though these have been pulled out - they are very small, possibly M3. Derek Uzzell
The procedure Steve has described is covered in the Ducato Owner Handbook in the “REPLACING AN EXTERIOR BULB"” section (specifically in sub-section “DIRECTION INDICATORS”/“SIDE”). There’s a drawing (Figure 210) that might help further.
