snowie
We were touring Reading to Canterbury a week ago and became very disturbed by the almost universal use of 2metre barriers on carparks. Just what continental tourists think of this country I hate to think. I can't see how it helps tourism one bit. Maybe Vince Cable can rejuvenate the Lid-Dems by promising us oldies motor home parking to go with our Bus Passes.? Highs of trip: ".....Wagamama in Reading, Maggies fish'n'chips and The Jerwood Gallery in Hastings. Lows"........The Pavilion in Brighton, and pretty universally bad TV reception over the whole area during Wimbledon fortnight ( our bad planning maybe). All things considered not bad value for money trip, and Canterbury was very nice. Regards alanb
