Loss of 240v alarm

Hi

We were on a site recently in The Forest of Dean when someone pulled out the 240v plug from the site supply in the middle of the night. Never discovered till the morning.

Does anyone know of an alarm which we would tell us when we lose the 240v supply. On our old van the fridge used to bleep when it was lost but not on this one.

Thinking of a 3 pin plug type....?

Why bother? Your fridge will stay cool overnight. Also this is not likely to be a common event, and could have been accidental, if IEC plug was not latched in correctly.

Top marks to Derek for his research, but building on this only £2.99 on Ebay from China, where they are probably made.

A word of warning, as the alarm is obviously designed for 110/120V operation, there is the possibility that it could get hot if connected to 240V for long periods.
