Le Bourget Recreation Vehicle Fair, France

We hope to go to the Le Bourget Recreation Vehicle Fair which is on the outskirts of Paris and is held 30th September to 8th October. Does anyone know if you can over-night at the show and what is the procedure. Failing that is there camping near by?

Within the “VISITEUR” section is a sub-section headed “Hébergement” and this carries the following (GOOGLE-translated) advice:

 

"ACCOMMODATION

 

A lodging area is dedicated to visitors coming by camper van on the Salon.

 

For 5 € TTC / night, you can park the number of nights you wish during the Show.

 

Water points are at your disposal and every morning you can have your breakfast and refresh yourself with fresh bread under the marquee "L'Etape".

 

The car park will be open from Saturday 24 September to Sunday 2 October 2016. Motorhome access to the car park is allowed from 08:00 to 19:00. Outside these hours, you have the possibility to go out and walk from the car-park.

 

Reservation is not necessary, but to save time on your arrival, you have the option to buy your places online for parking accommodation.”

 

(NB. The opening hours of the motorhome parking area incorrectly relate to the 2016 Show (pointed out on another French website). As you are aware, the 2017 Show is from 30th September to 8th October and you can safely assume that’s when the motorhome parking area will be open.)
