Derek Uzzell
There ought to be an English-language Owners Manual for your Hobby motorhome (I’m guessing it’s this one) http://www.thompsonleisure.com/motorhomes-for-sale/massive-sale-save-6565-hobby-siesta-t60-gq/2906/ When I bought a Transit-based Hobby in 2005 no English-language Manual had been produced at that time. The German dealer gave me a Manual appropriate for Fiat-based Hobby motorhomes and (for some strange reason I can’t recall) I eventually ended up with two Manuals. I remember mentioning this on the forum and the owner of a later Transit-based Hobby said “You didn’t miss much - my English-language Manual’s hopeless”. There is a variety of Hobby Manuals on-line (for example) https://www.hobby-caravan.de/fileadmin/user_upload/kataloge_und_service/bedienungsanleitungen/ba-rm-vanexclusive-toskanaexclusive-sphinx-2012-en.pdf but a Hobby dealership SHOULD be able to obtain one for you. Derek Uzzell
I notice that this Hobby motorhome is described in one advert as “2016” and (presumably the same vehicle) in another as “2017” http://www.eshartleygroup.co.uk/motorhomes/detail&vid=74264 whereas the year of manufacture of its Fiat Ducato X250 chassis will be no later than 2014 and the year of the Hobby conversion is also likely to be 2014 (or 2015 perhaps). The vehicle is recorded in the DVLA’s database with a date of first registration as May 2016 and with 2016 as the year of manufacture. If (as I understand it) you’ll be changing the motorhome’s registration-number, you might want to address the date of manufacture too.
yeti
It depends on how long the vehicle is in the converters compound before the work was done. Although when I needed to call Fiat camper assistance they informed me that the information for this vehicle was from 2013. As far as I'm concerned the vehicle carries a dealers warranty which is with whom I have the agreement, any issues they can' slug it out' with Fiat UK.
