qwark Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 We are travelling north from Hook of Holland, ferry arrives about 17.15, we are looking for somewhere to overnight around Leiden preferably an Aire or equivalent in Holland. Thanks for any help Tom
peejay Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Haven't used it myself but there is an aire near Abbenes a few kms past Leiden - €12 p/n... http://www.camperplaatshetgroenehart.nl/engels/index.html Pete
Keithl Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Tom, We spent a night here in Delft before a crossing back to the UK... WoMo Stellplatz Vakantiepark Delftse Hout https://www.delftsehout.co.uk/accommodaties/camping/campervan_pitch Link to Google maps It's slightly nearer Hook of Holland than Leiden but very convenient for the ferry. Keith.
ColinM50 Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 We had a breakdown earlier this spring in Alphen a/d Rijjn, about 40 mins from the Hoek - that's another story for another time but the garage that fixed our M/H were superb and since time was getting on they suggested we stay at Minicamping Polderflora, Rietveldsepad 10 minutes away If you put that in to Google it'll show you all you need to know. The site was a small and very friendly sort of mini working farm with sheep/lambs, pigs, goats, chickens and a couple of donkeys etc all wandering around and it was a really very pleasant place to stay. There's a lake for fishing, easy cycle ride into Alphen and all in all a jolly good stop over. I think we paid 11euros with lekky Highly recommended
AndyLou Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Hi Last year we went to Scheveningen beach nr Den Hague and there would have been overnight parking in this car park 52.100428, 4.262025. When we were there, there was a concert on so it was closed but otherwise it would have been a great place to park. Right on the beach. GoogleMapLink This place in Rotterdam nr the Kinderdik windmills was ideal too. http://www.camperpark-kinderdijk.com/ camperpark-kinderdijk Let us know how you get on, we loved The Netherlands. Andy
