tonyg3nwl
Yes, been there a few years ago. Aire itself overlooks a lake, and is adjacent to a campsite ? On approach to campsite, you go to left of campsite checkin, and drive right around the site to reach the aire Follow campsite signs first through what seem to be a roundabout route, .checkin in at site, stating you want the aire. Empty point at site entrance on left. Tonyg3nwl

lancepar
Wasn't Me - 2017-08-13 7:43 PM Looking for an overnight before a 10.00 tunnel. Thanks in advance. Why not use the huge free Aire on the Boulevard du Kent between Cite de Europe and the Shuttle. No services but handy for last minute shopping. We've used it both ways this July as well of lots of others. http://tinyurl.com/y7h9tt2z . B-)

geordy paul
We use sites from this book a lot . There are a couple of sites near Calais. This year we used the one near Guines. Less than 20mins to the ferry. https://www.vicarious-shop.com/France-Passion-2017.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw2s_MBRA5EiwAmWIac5uejj48k4TaYPe-6geMyBFje-oRxczoeW9x40QN_KimCZxSZukDkxoCeegQAvD_BwE
panman52
We stayed there last week not a bad site, its a bit misleading to find its behind the campsite reception, it took us just over an hour to get back to Calais, will defiantly use it again
Brian Kirby
Both the aire and the campsite can be a bit tricky to find. The following GPS coordinates will take you to the site/aire reception office. N50.74561 E2.30456 Out of season the site is just under €17 per night for two persons with electricity. The facilities are good, spotless, and fully enclosed. There is a railway that runs behind the site, and a factory opposite across the lake, both of which can produce some noise. We haven't used the aire, which is closer to both, but have used the site several times without being disturbed. The railway seems not to operate at night, the factory noise is from ventilation plant, and is fairly constant, so becomes un-noticeable after a while.
