marksrv6
I have upgraded my old thetford fridge for a new one N3000 The wiring has 2 additional wires for a low voltage connection that my old fridge never had. Do these need to be connected to anywhere? Mark

Wortho
Sounds like the low current 12v supply is for the fridge electronics and the High current 12v supply is only used for the heating element. See page 24 of the manual below. http://www.thetford.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/N3104-N3150-Installation-and-Owners-Manual.pdf
Robbo
I guess the 2 thin wires are used to transmit a signal (communicate) with something? Perhaps to link up with the D+ alternator signal when on 12v.
marksrv6
Thanks for your help, I have sorted it now, pity the manual wasn't a bit clearer. Turn out the low current is for the panel. All in and working now. Mark
