snowie
Derek Uzzell - 2017-09-25 8:17 AM In my posting of 19 September 2017 7:49 AM above I suggested that baden87 might consider replacing his toilet-cassette’s lip-seal (as this is now 9 years old) as a precautionary measure even though this might prove not to cure the water-on-the-cassette. I think a replacement lip seal would be a good investment; the existing one doesn't owe Paul anything does it?! Regards Alan b

Derek Uzzell
A Thetford "Fresh Up” kit for a C-200 toilet (sample advert here) http://www.jacksonsleisure.com/caravan-motorhome/toilets/cassette-toilets/thetford-caravan-cassette-toilet-tank-c200-fresh-up-kit/ comprises a wheeled cassette with extendable handle. a toilet seat and lid, plus some Thetdord chemicals. It’s probably the cheapest way to obtain a new cassette if you want a 2nd one, and/or to spruce up an elderly toilet. However, unless the water-on-cassette issue discussed above is due to the current casette’s lip-seal being worn or damaged, a Fresh Up kit won’t address the problem. A replacement lip-seal is straightforward to fit and costs about £11.
