StuartO
I tried to top up my refillable gas system and was refused by a Prio filling station. It was manned by uniformed girls who were clearly following a Company edit not to allow any MHs to fill up. "It's only for small vehicles, not autocaravan". Nothing I could do but drive away. I didn't refuel with diesel there either of course. I had previously topped up with LPG in Portugal at another garage no problem.
lennyhb
I got refused last year at Tavria last year, girl in blue uniform came running out saying we don't fill bottles, I pointed at my external filler and said it's a tank (actually bottles), she said OK and filled me. StuartO
Last couple of days we were around Aveiro and didn't find any garages with LPG at all but yesterday, up in the hills, we found and used one at the roadside very easily. It seems to be necessary to keep some in hand, in case you find yourself in a local area which has limited sources. The only supplier we found in Aveiro was such tight access it was no use for a MH. Aveiro is a very cluttered place with lots of narrow streets and complex one way road system - a real challenge to find somewhere to park - but worth the effort.
