Birmingham German xmas market

Hi, we would like to visit said market but we don't own a car I'm guessing there is no motorhome parking near the market?

So does anyone know where there is a campsite with public transport to the centre? Will need hard standing and EHU.

We are members of both clubs so Chapel lane or Kingsbury water park are reasonably close do they have a bus service?

Do any of you know or used these before?

Open to suggestions

Thanks snail

We stayed at the Chapel Lane site last weekend & caught the bus after the 1/2 mile walk & breakfast at Becketts. (A large food shop near the bus stop). The bus from the site is now more frequent than one a day, but you would need to change to get to Birmingham. It was worth it, the market is brilliant. But, the last bus back to the site, I think, was about seven o'clock. Worth asking at the office. Have a good weekend

It's a thirty minute walk from Chapel Lane CMC to Wythall Station which has trains to Birmingham Moor Street. The walk is almost flat. I don't know the frequency of the trains - it used to be every hour. I presume the wardens will know how best to get to Birmingham.

Chapel Lane is a good site and Beckets is an excellent farm shop and restaurant.

Would it be possible to get a train to Birmingham from Gloucester if that's where you live?
