malc d
Our van is on a slope at home - and we regularly switch the fridge on a day before we go away. Been doing that for years and we've had no problems. ( Yet ! ) ;-)

lennyhb
On Dometic fridges the spec is max slope of 5° but they usually work on much steeper inclines, Thetford fridges are not very good on slope 3° max. Type of fuel doesn't make any difference old wives tall about not working on gas on a slope.
