Wheelchair Round Ireland

I have just read Rob Stuarts moving story of how he took his parents on a motorhome holiday to Ireland. It is very very good.

It struck a chord with me on two counts, first,Last year I took my wife over to Ireland in our van,her first visit and mine a return after 25 years,(seemed like a different country from the one i remembered. Secondly, the reason we swapped our 'Tugger van' for a motorhome(with a 'flush loo') was to take my wife's mother around the beautiful places where we now live (Pembrokeshire), She had Alzheimers disease (deceased late 2005) but loved to go out in the van, until the day she died she still remembered a particularly beautiful Sunset over Whitesands beach, looking toward Ramsey island. She didn't know who we were, but she remembered that Sunset. We wouldn't go back to 'tugging' now.

As Andy Stothert says, there are 'so many roads' with beautiful places at the end of them.
