Pete-B
Hi, as anyone got any idea what weight full VB air suspension would add when fitted? Thanks.
Derek Uzzell
If you want a really accurate figure, I would have thought you will need to provide details of the vehicle to which the VB product would be fitted. Your best bet would be to phone VB-Airsuspension UK and ask them, as they ought to have the information immediately to hand. Derek Uzzell
I notice that you’ve asked about the VB systems before http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Air-suspension/48461/ http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Air-suspension-/48144/ VB markets two “full air’ modifications for a Ducato X250/X290 - the VB-FullAir 2C or the VB-FullAir 4C - with the former relating just to the vehicle’s rear axle and the latter relating to both the front and rear axles. Technical specifications are provided here https://www.vbairsuspension.com/en/files/320.html https://www.vbairsuspension.com/en/files/319.html Those documents advise that the increase in the vehicle’s original weight will depend on which rear springs the vehicle has to begin with. The weight-change will be +38kg to +52kg (VB-FullAir 2C ) or +43kg to +57kg (VB-FullAir 4C).

monique.hubrechtsgm
And in case of alko rear axle in a two axle version fiat you can take home in the rear garage the following material: Six torsion bars, two swing arms, complete brake hydraulic lines, and two complete frontstruts and brake lines. In case of a fiat ducato it is even most waste material.
