Cliffy
Does anyone know? Is our less than 3.5 ton motorhome classed as a car (D1) or a van (D2) for Hungarian road toll vignette? Thanks

Cliffy
bounty hunter - 2018-01-31 10:13 PM D1 as per their website http://www.hungary-vignette.eu/ It is D1 Assuming that a motorhome is classed as a car. D2 Is for any other vehicle that is not included in any other category which could be a van or a motorhome. That is what makes me wonder which one I should buy The official toll site is https://hu-go.hu/articles/article/about-the-amount-of-the-toll#menu
vindiboy
We were in Hungary a few years ago . 7 metre van , tolls were cheap enough , I have it written down somewhere , you have to put your reg no on the toll and cameras are every where and the cops are hot on non payment, so be aware. tolls were bought in ten day blocks as I remember? Cliffy
I have checked with the Caravan and Motorhome Club who inform me that a Motorhome is a D2 vehicle. So that's what I will buy on line prior to leaving the UK.
