Chester park and ride

Has anyone used Chester's park and ride car parks, was looking at Upton in particular, but anyone that will accommodate my motorhome. I E no height restrictions.

We always Little Roodee Car park, over the bridge from the racecourse, right in the city. You can overnight officially for £1.50 daytime parking charges very reasonable

The Wrexham Rd P&R permits overheight vehicles, you just have to ask the attendant in the ticket office to open the barrier. Quite a few motorhomes use Little Roodee overnight then move to P&R in the morning getting bus back into town.

on a visit to Chester.last year we parked in little rodee,but did not stay as the coach parking did not seem to include m/homes,and to park in the car part would mean we would be overhanging the white line.(a flogging offence) so left after half hour at a cost of over £4 a couple of m/homes where parked along side the river.but no room there,and there was nobody to ask.BLOODY ENGLAND! 8o| 8o|

It includes the phrase relating to the Park & Ride, "An over height area is available at each site for motor homes and oversized vehicles."

 

I have seen motorhomes using Sealand. That is the one we use when going by car. We find the park and ride service is excellent.
