Steve H
Given the number of thread subjects involving Fiat Ducato's is it any wonder thieves prefer to steal Ford Transits? Just kidding

hallii
Transits have their own problems! To be fair any vehicle that is properly serviced will have better reliability. Transit standard locks are a joke, best get some proper locks fitted. H
crocs
Given the ratio of Fiats to Fords, it’s not surprising that there are more threads on Fiats.
mgnbuk
Having experienced both Fiat and Ford handling of recalls, I would go for Fiat every time. My brother in law works for a specialist motorhome & caravan insurer - he said during a recent conversation that the company he works for are going to be declining to insure '08 - '14 Transits, due to the easy availability of devices that assist theft of those vehicles. The '17 Transit I recently disposed of had a completely different key system to the Tibbe round shank type + a key mounted immobiliser system - still fitted a Stoplock Pro steering wheel bar and a clutch pedal lock, though.
