We have a ferry crossing on Tuesday morning and we were thinking of going early and visiting friends on Sunday, if they cancel the Ferry, will they give us a few days notice (is this usual) I presume they will either/or email and ring ? Bojitoes Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 They cancelled our outward trip 7 weeks ago. We got a text message, followed by a phone call, the morning before we were due to sail. You can pop in by easy jet very cheap to biarritz airport. As many young people do and get drunk. The jet -set moved to deauville leaving the city as it is. But still have a casino and theather.Famous for windsurfing. And fish restaurants fresh from the sea. You can hire a mobile and go into the french mountains, taking a ham whityou from Bayonne. Or enter spain via sandander and have a look at their famous seaport bay and city via bilbao to santander. Or cross the country via the sea side up to lagos and lisbon back to entry.
