Help please, drop flap stay

Very perceptive Derek, as always. No, it's to repair a kitchen cabinet. When we bought our AutoCruise Vista we were invited to visit the factory to confirm details of the various bespoke features. They knew I would be further customising the Vista, and they very kindly gave me a box of bits, mostly cabinet fittings, as a new owner's gift. That was around 10 years ago, and 2 further vans (and two house moves) later I still have lots of bits left over, but none of these stays. I will post on the AS forum, as they too are always very helpful. Thanks for the tip.

I doubt if AS forum members will be able to help as you obtained the stay originally from the Autocruise factory - but who knows? And - as a decade has passed - the chances of you locating a direct replacement are pretty slim.

There are plenty of ‘flap stays’ used in kitchens or leisure vehicles and ranging from the simple cheap hinged plastic ‘triangle’ used on my Rapido motorhome to the more complex sturdy (expensive) type used by Hymer.
